Absolutely! We can create a stunning, customized painting via photographs!
In most cases, I will take the painting back with me after the wedding to ensure absolute perfection for your final product. On average, you can expect to have your completed painting within 8 weeks. You will be contacted when your painting is complete. We can then schedule a pick-up time or arrange for it to be shipped directly to you.
I use professional grade water-based acrylic paint on pre-stretched canvas or linen. The paint is non-toxic and quick drying, allowing for easy cleanup and transport of the painting after the event.
Once I confirm I am available for your date, I will then gather some important details to include in your customized proposal. After the proposal is agreed upon, a non-refundable retainer fee (25% of package price) is required to secure your date on my calendar. I will then send over a contract for you to sign.
If I have an unexpected sickness or emergency and have to cancel last minute I will- 1. Contact you IMMEDIATELY 2. Be prepared to paint the agreed upon painting from photograph as soon as images are received 3. Add an additional 11x14 engagement photo painting of choice to compensate for the live entertainment cost that will be lost.
I am based in Saint Louis, MO; if your venue is farther than 80 miles, a travel stipend will apply. Travel costs will be included in your proposal and will include compensation for airfare or mileage, hotel accommodations and a rental car if necessary. An additional travel stipend will be applied to venues of a driving distance greater than 4 hours, which is compensatory of time traveling, meals, gas for the rental car, and other expenses that may arise in the process of traveling.
